Data Access
The continuum emission data of ALMAGAL at full resolution are available on this page. The data were obtained from the joint deconvolution of the visibilities from the ACA 7M array and the two configurations of the main array (TM1 and TM2). For further details on data reduction and the creation of the final FITS file, please refer to Sanchéz-Monge et al. 2025.
For each source, two files will be downloaded: the FITS file with the emission without primary
beam correction (internalID_cont_7MTM2TM1_jointdeconv.image.fits) and the FITS file
with the emission corrected for the primary beam
(internalID_cont_7MTM2TM1_jointdeconv.image.pbcor.fits).
The sources to be downloaded can be selected from the table below. It is possible to search for
specific sources using the name (either the ALMAGAL ID or the internal ID used at the time of
the observations and present in the ALMA archive), or to select a subsample of sources using
filters on the coordinates, distance, clump mass M, clump luminosity L, L/M ratio of the clump,
or by selecting only far or near sources.
Once the desired subsample has been selected using the checkbox on the left side of the table,
the Download selected button will directly start the download of the continuum
data if the subsample consists of 10 or fewer sources. For larger subsamples, after clicking the
button, the system will create and download a script for downloading the sources, to be launched
following the commands that will appear on the screen and are also repeated in the first commented
lines of the script itself. To download the data with the script, the wget command
must be installed on your machine.
